18 SKETCH AXONOMETRICS

I want to explore the damage that human beings brings to sea by using dominant black shades in these drawings. The minority of white color symbolizes the beauty, inspiration, source ocean generously gives us but were ended up being sabotaged gradually by us. This is also the main point that Jacques wanted to point out.

My sketches focus on exploring the confirmation with certainty and confidence of Dr Campbell's belief in cloning by the use of thick and strong solid prisms. His intention of bringing good things to life was showed in the way these prisms perpectly fit together as if they were designed for each others.

Client 1: Keith Campbell

Keith's lab was designed to have an industrial-scientific-look in soft red light which not only implied Keith's occupation as a scientist but also expressed his passion and strong belief in science. His intention to bring good things to life and people was more emphasised by the use of some vibrant red textures on the wall.

Client 2: Jacques Yves Cousteau

"The greatest resource of the ocean is not material but the boundless spring of inspiration and well-being we gain from her. Yet we risk poisoning the sea forever just when we are learning her science, art, and philosophy and how to live in her embrace"

In my opinion, the true form of Jacques 's love for oceans was the bigger love for nature. That is why Jacques' lab, on the contrary with Keith's, had an organic form in different green tone which symbolized the beauty of nature in his eyes. However, that the whole structure was built seperately and there was a big hole in the centre of it showed Jacques' point of view about the bad and hostile treatment humans toward nature when it came to their benefits.

The ramp is again an rugged organic wooden form to showed the damages brought to nature despite its generousity given to our race.

The meeting point was a small room in soft colourful texture which was intended to show the common perception between Keith and Jacques. They both had strong belief in their ability to distinguish between right and wrong, to protect what they loved and good intention to build a better life. Those reasons above had inspired me to construct this meeting room to honor the meeting point of their beautiful souls.
